— my allergies. Every since I was a child, synthetic fragrances have caused me to experience shortness of breath and headaches. It was something that I did not really think about, accepting it as “just how things are.” 

But one day, as an adult, I was scrubbing my bathtub at home, holding my breath and wearing gloves. I remember thinking “this can’t be normal. Cleaning your home shouldn’t be a toxic task.” There had to be a better way to clean without compromising your health, and from that point on, I was on a mission to invent something better.

I began to research ingredients, learning about  different chemicals and their role in the process of cleaning and disinfection. I quickly realized just how much “normal” household products affect our bodies over time. Generation after generation, many of us have brought these ingredients into our home without knowledge of just how dangerous they are for ourselves, our children, pets, plants, and the environment that we live in.

I was able to find ingredients that are non-toxic and eco-friendly,  using them to create unique recipes to support both a CLEAN and HEALTHY life.

Welcome to Clarity & Co.!

My first product was the All Purpose Cleaner — a thoughtful blend of plant-based cleansing agents and essential oils. It’s designed to bind with oil and dirt so it can be lifted and washed away, without leaving behind harsh residues or overwhelming fumes.

After that came the Scouring Scrub — a health conscious product that is strong enough to lift tough stains from sinks, tubs and toilets. This recipe is  gentle enough to shine without scratching, and clean without risking your health.

Growing up in Michigan, off the coast of Lake St. Clair,  I grew up understanding how serious pollution is for the fresh water around me. My family, friends and I are proud of our Great Lakes State, and care deeply about keeping ourselves as well as the animals, water and land around us healthy today, and for generations to come.
